SPECIFICATIONS
All the information given on our website regarding size, weight, plans and colours are those provided in the manufacturers guides. We cannot be held responsible for any omissions or errors. Colours may vary slightly from the pictures shown on our website.
IMPORTANT
We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is accurate. However, just occasionally, an error can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we may cancel your order at any time up to the point we send the product(s) to you (even if we have sent you our third email). We will contact you where we become aware of an error and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we do cancel your order you will receive a full refund of any charges paid in advance.
PAYMENT
All payments can be made either via Paypal or by credit card transactions over the telephone. Payments can also be made by cheque but will have to be cleared before dispatch of the order. We cannot accept any responsibility if any order is held up as a result of incorrect payment details being supplied. All prices are £ sterling and include VAT at 17.5%. Our VAT No. is GB-891-3197-01.
DELAYED ORDERS
If due to demand any products on our website are out of stock we will inform you by email immediately. You will then be given the opportunity to choose whether to cancel the out of stock items or be given an expected date of delivery.
You will be kept fully informed as to the progress of your order.
AWNING/TENT RETURNS/REPLACEMENT POLICY
Please note that every awning/tent will come with this information sheet and instructions from the tent manufacturer. BOTH of these sets of information need to be read BEFORE you attempt to erect the tent and adhered to during the erection process to prevent any problems arising with your purchase.
Unsuitable Tents
If you feel you need to unpack and/or erect the tent to see if it will be suitable for your use, this must be performed INDOORS and on clean, smooth surfaces. Pitching it in a field or garden automatically renders the tent “used” and as such it cannot be returned to us (unless it is subsequently deemed faulty). Also under the Health & Safety at Work Act it is not possible for a retailer or manufacturer to handle returned goods in a dirty condition.
Your intention to return an unsuitable tent to us must be communicated within 7 days of receipt of your order.
The cost of returning an unsuitable tent is purely the responsibility of the customer and must be made within 14 days of receipt of the item.
A full refund for the tent will be made only when we had had the opportunity to inspect it thoroughly.
Damaged/Faulty Awnings/Tents
If upon erection of your awning/tent you feel that the tent is damaged or is in some way faulty then you must inform us of the nature of the fault/damage within 7 days.
With the help of the Manufacturer we will attempt to resolve the fault by giving a remedy to the problem either by telephone or email or by sending a replacement part.
If none of these remedies produce the desired result then we will require return of the tent to us for inspection of the fault/problem by ourselves and by a manufacturers representative. Until the inspection process is completed we will not be able to issue the customer with a replacement tent (or part) or a refund.
If we and the Manufacturer are happy that the damage/fault is as a result of a manufacturing problem or defect, we will be happy to give a replacement tent to the customer and/or refund the costs of the tent plus the postage costs.
Please note where goods are returned to us we have by Law, 30 days in which to issue a refund to the customer. However, we strive to issue refunds as soon as practically possible.
Damaged/Faulty Goods (other than Tents)
If you wish to return any goods, other than tents, because they were found to be either damaged or defective upon delivery you must inform us within 7 days of receipt. The cost of returning the goods must be borne by the customer and the item must be returned to us within 14 days of purchase.
On inspection if the goods are found to be faulty then a full refund including postage will be given.
Unsuitable Goods (Other than Tents)
If you wish to return any goods, other than tents, because they are unsuitable you must inform us of your intention to return them within 7 days of purchase. The cost of returning the goods must be borne by the customer and the item must be returned to us within 14 days of purchase.
The unsuitable goods must be returned to us complete, unopened, unused and in the same condition as received, together with its original packaging and in a resale able condition.
Any items returned to us which fail to comply with the above may affect our ability to issue a full refund.
These conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
